Shoebot redesign

I have re-branded and designed a website for Shoebot.

Basically this was my project/dissertation for my graphic design degree. As
my project, I intended to write Shoebot documentation
(tutorials/references/etc.), but the institution insisted that it have more
of a 'graphic design focus'. As such, I have packaged Shoebot with a
customised version of the Geany IDE. I also renamed it "Spryte" and designed
a new logo.

You will notice that the website is not fully functional and lacks any
back-end functionality. Spryte is not intended to be a fork of Shoebot. You
can view the website a proposal of possible ideas for Shoebot. As far as I
know, the website is not linked to from any other website and should not
rank in search engines.

If there is ANY part of it you wish to use, please do so. I intend to get
stuck into the documentation (after a holiday that is ...) now that I have
completed the project. This documentation can be used for Shoebot.

The website url is:
http://hxgraphics.com/spryte/

Thanks
Tristan.

Tristan, your effort looks awesome! I've only briefly had a look at the
website but stuff looks wonderful.

I'll be commenting more carefully later as i am now pretty swamped with
professional work -- which is also the reason why i haven't been active
at all in the mailing list and haven't responded to the most recent
postings, my honest apologies to everyone (especially Stu, who's been
posting great insights).

Still i'm very much in the boat, in case there was any doubt regarding
that.

I'm not sure when i'll be able to sit down and finalise+merge the 0.3
branch, but my head is buzzing with possibilities that your offshoot of
Shoebot proposes. Wow, i'm still wow. Thanks for that, Tristan.

Ok, here's some notes after looking through Spryte:

- Out of my head, my thoughts are that this could be the 'official'
Shoebot version for Windows. Since Gedit plug-ins don't work properly in
Windows (this was acknowledged at the gedit-dev mailing list), I'm all
for supporting something that just works. Also, i'm okay with the
project re-branding, since it's presented as a front-end to Shoebot.

- The documentation is great, and i'd be very inclined to 'port' it to
Shoebot.

- Can i link to Spryte in the Shoebot website? I'd maintain the current
instructions for getting it to work on Windows, but present Spryte as
the preferred way to get Shoebot to work on Windows.

Thanks Ricardo

The wiki and new site look very promising, so I will just stick to the
documentation at the moment (and look at 'porting' it as well). The Spryte
site needs a lot of work anyhow.

I will keep you posted regarding any updates.

The 'porting' effort could be shared, if it sounds good to you. I'm fine
with Spryte having its own website+name+docs, but there are certainly
many cases (esp. documentation) where we could avoid duplication of efforts.

I think it works great as it is, i'll be taking many cues from there
while updating the shoebot website.
