gedit plugin

I tried the gedit plugin for the first time in ages and it doesn't work -
probably something I broke in the old -dq branch, does anybody know I can try
and debug this? (on ubuntu for now).

Oops, ignore this - I've been experimenting with virtualenv and shoebot wasn't
working
in the global install.
